Beta
Help test AetherGuide
AetherGuide is preparing for a controlled beta with practical radio users who can compare the app's confidence estimates against real-world results.
AetherGuide is not publicly released yet. The most useful beta feedback comes from people who can run a scenario, try the radio, and tell us whether AetherGuide's estimate matched reality.
Already testing? Use the same form to submit field feedback.
What Beta Testers Help Validate
Real conditions, checked against real results.
Directional accuracy
Whether the confidence estimate feels directionally accurate for the conditions you actually test.
Clarity of explanation
Whether the plain-English explanation is understandable without RF background.
Usefulness of the recommendation
Whether the suggested next steps are practical and worth acting on.
Where the estimate breaks down
Which real-world conditions cause the estimate to feel wrong or incomplete.
Who We're Looking For
Practical radio users, not tactical cosplay.
We're looking for people who use radios in the real world and are willing to compare AetherGuide's estimate against actual radio performance.
- GMRS / FRS users
- Amateur radio operators
- Hunters, hikers, campers, and overlanders
- Search-and-rescue or volunteer comms users
- Preparedness-minded families
- Anyone willing to test estimates against real radio results
What To Submit
What makes feedback useful.
Useful field feedback generally includes:
- Radio model or service
- Approximate frequency / channel
- Approximate distance
- Antenna setup / height
- General environment
- AetherGuide confidence result
- What happened in the real world
- Whether the explanation and recommendation helped

Please do not submit exact home locations, precise coordinates, sensitive operational details, emergency incident details, classified or controlled information, or personal information about other people.
