Privacy Policy
AetherGuide is built around a simple principle: useful radio planning should not require unnecessary tracking.
Last updated: July 12, 2026
1. What AetherGuide collects
The current AetherGuide MVP does not collect personal information.
The app does not currently use:
- user accounts
- cloud sync
- telemetry
- advertising trackers
- background location tracking
- background signal collection
- payment processing
- analytics services
Saved scenarios are stored locally on the user's device.
2. Local device storage
AetherGuide may allow users to save radio planning scenarios on their own device.
These saved scenarios may include information such as:
- frequency
- distance
- antenna height
- environment
- confidence result
- recommendation
- user notes or test outcome, if entered
This information remains local to the device in the MVP version. AetherGuide does not receive, access, or store this information on company servers.
3. Website usage
The current website is a static informational site.
AetherGuide does not currently use website analytics, advertising pixels, tracking cookies, or user behavior monitoring.
If this changes in the future, the Privacy Policy will be updated.
4. Location information
The current MVP does not use background location tracking.
AetherGuide does not currently collect GPS location, monitor user movement, or collect background environmental data.
Future location-based features, if added, will be clearly disclosed and designed to require user awareness and consent.
5. Future data features
AetherGuide may eventually add opt-in data features to improve recommendations, support beta feedback, or generate privacy-preserving aggregated insights.
Any future data collection will be:
- disclosed before use
- opt-in where appropriate
- limited to what is needed
- designed around privacy preservation
- focused on aggregated insights rather than selling raw user data
AetherGuide does not intend to sell raw user data.
6. Beta feedback
During beta testing, users may choose to provide feedback through email, forms, Discord, or other feedback channels.
Information voluntarily submitted through those channels may be used to improve the product, respond to questions, and understand user needs.
Users should avoid submitting sensitive personal information through feedback channels unless necessary.
7. Children's privacy
AetherGuide is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as AetherGuide evolves.
If future versions add accounts, cloud features, telemetry, location-based tools, or opt-in data collection, this policy will be updated to explain what changes and why.
